Appointment Preparation

Please review the following recommendations carefully to ensure a smooth and successful tattoo session.

Food & Hydration

· Eat a large, high-carb meal just before your appointment.
· Stay well hydrated leading up to your session.
· Bring snacks and drinks with you, as extended breaks will not be taken. (Note: A café is located across the road and may be used for full-day appointments.)

Alcohol, Caffeine & Medications

· Do not consume alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours before and after your appointment. Both substances have blood-thinning properties that can increase bleeding during the tattoo process.
· Avoid medications that affect the skin or blood (e.g., Aspirin) unless discussed with your artist beforehand.

Skin Preparation

· Moisturize the area to be tattooed daily leading up to your appointment. Well-hydrated skin makes the process smoother and more comfortable.

What to Wear

· Dress comfortably, ensuring the tattoo area is easily accessible for the artist.
· Avoid tight clothing around the tattoo site to prevent irritation.

Entertainment & Pain Management

· For larger or more painful sessions, bring something to keep yourself entertained (laptop, tablet, or other device) to help pass the time.

Schedule & Payment

· Leave flexibility in your schedule before and after the appointment. Session lengths vary due to many factors, and only rough estimates can be given in advance.
· Prepare your final payment in advance. Bring cash or confirm accepted payment methods ahead of time to avoid last-minute issues.
