Last updated: [Insert current date]
Please read carefully. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of your appointment.

1. SERVICES
1.1 Each artist in the collective works in their own style(s). Review the artist's portfolio before booking.
1.2 Artists may, at their discretion, accept requests outside their usual style, subject to consultation and approval.
1.3 Minimum age for receiving a tattoo is 18 on the day of the appointment. Consultations may be held before that date.
2. DESIGN
2.1 Unless stated otherwise by the artist, each custom design will be tattooed only once.
2.2 For custom designs, the client will generally receive a draft prior to the appointment. Reasonable changes may be requested before the session. Some artists work differently — please check with your specific artist.
2.3 Artists will not copy another artist's work. Reference images are welcome, but the final design will be original.
2.4 The artist reserves the right to refuse any design or subject matter.
3. PRICE & PAYMENT
3.1 Pricing (hourly or flat-rate) will be communicated before the appointment. For hourly rates, only an estimate can be provided upfront.
3.2 Prices are non-negotiable.
3.3 A non-refundable deposit (see Section 4) is required for every booking.
3.4 Remaining payment is due on the day of the appointment. Accepted payment methods vary by artist; you will be informed in advance.
4. DEPOSIT
4.1 Deposits are mandatory for all bookings.
4.2 Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
4.3 Deposits are non-transferable to other people or to future appointments unless the artist agrees in writing.
4.4 Deposits are deductible from the final price. For multi-appointment projects, the deposit will be deducted after the final session.
5. RUNNING LATE & CANCELLATIONS
5.1 If you are running late, notify the artist directly before the appointment start time.
5.2 Without notice, the artist will wait a maximum of 30 minutes. If you have not arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
5.3 If the artist needs to cancel due to illness or emergency, the deposit will be transferred to a new date.
6. TOUCH-UPS
6.1 The artist provides aftercare instructions. Proper healing depends on following them.
6.2 If proper aftercare is followed, the client is entitled to one free touch-up within a time frame defined by the specific artist.
6.3 Neglect of aftercare (e.g., infection, sunburn, picking) voids the free touch-up.
6.4 Touch-ups requested outside of the artist's defined time limit will be charged at the artist's current rates.
7. HEALTH, SKIN CONDITIONS & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
7.1 Before the appointment, inform the artist of any:
· Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, keloid scarring, active acne, moles in the tattoo area)
· Allergies (latex, inks, numbing agents, medical adhesives)
· Bloodborne illnesses, bleeding disorders, diabetes, epilepsy, autoimmune conditions
· Any condition affecting healing or immunity
7.2 The artist may refuse service if tattooing poses a health risk, or may require a doctor's note.
7.3 Pregnancy is prohibited. Pregnant clients cannot receive tattoos.
7.4 Clients under the influence of alcohol, drugs (including blood-thinning medications), or who appear unwell will be refused service — deposit forfeited.
8. ALLERGIES & ADVERSE REACTIONS
8.1 The client is responsible for disclosing all known allergies (including but not limited to: tattoo inks, pigments, latex, medical adhesives, second skin/saniderm, green soap, chlorhexidine, lidocaine, bacitracin, petroleum-based products, or any topical or cleaning agents commonly used in tattooing and aftercare).
8.2 Even with full disclosure, the artist cannot guarantee the absence of a reaction. Some reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis, delayed hypersensitivity to pigments, scarring, or swelling) may occur despite standard professional practices.
8.3 The client acknowledges that:
· Patch tests are not routinely performed and, if performed, cannot predict all possible reactions
· The artist is not a medical professional and cannot diagnose or treat allergic or medical reactions
· Any reaction, mild or severe, is at the client's own risk
8.4 In the event of a suspected allergic reaction or adverse skin response after the appointment, the client agrees to:
· Always contact the artist first if you notice any reactions — the artist will advise you further
· Seek medical attention immediately only if the artist advises it or if symptoms are severe (e.g., hives, difficulty breathing, blistering beyond normal healing)
8.5 The artist and the collective are not liable for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, scarring, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or other dermatological responses arising from the tattooing process, products used, or aftercare products recommended or purchased separately.
9. LOCATION & CONDUCT
9.1 Each artist works from their own location (studio, private space, or guest spot). The exact address will be shared before the appointment.
9.2 Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior toward any artist will result in immediate cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.
9.3 Guests are allowed only with prior artist approval.
9.4 Clients must be 18 or older on the day of the appointment.
10. AGREEMENT
By paying your deposit, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Each artist in the collective operates independently; these terms apply to your booking with the specific artist you have chosen.
